It's the breakthrough engineers the world over have been waiting for:

ROAD TECH 2000

The stabilisation product that has revolutionised road maintenance, from the sun beaten tarmacs of the Queensland outback to the mines of South Africa.

This innovative microbe-based product, which is at the cutting edge of world technology, is the most versatile product on the market.

Designed for use on all clay types, it guarantees exceptional road stabilisation and dust suppression, requires no specialised equipment and can slash the cost of both secondary road construction and existing road maintenance.

This completely natural product has been fully evaluated by C.S.I.R.O. Australia who found it to be "non pathogenic towards plants and animals". This makes ROAD TECH 2000 environmentally friendly in both design and application. In fact, by prolonging the life of wear surface, ROAD TECH 2000 not only offers superior stabilisation and low maintenance, it can substantially reduce erosion.

Unlike other products, ROAD TECH 2000 offers decreased whole of life cost, increased insitu road bearing strength, and can be customised for specific projects or applied directly to all varieties of stabilisation or dust suppression applications.

It is a revolutionary low cost product with the flexibility to meet your road stabilisation needs.

As ROAD TECH 2000's unique blend of naturally-occurring microbes treat the clay particles, they produce a polymer that replaces the water between the clay platelets, significantly reducing the clay's ability to re-absorb moisture.

One of the greatest benefits of this microbial interaction is the microbes' capacity to move down through the profile. For example, on many recent projects where ROAD TECH 2000 has been applied at 150mm, it has increased the bearing capacity beyond 240mm in depth!

ROAD TECH 2000's versatility enables the product to be applied to virtually all clay profiles. It has shown proven and consistent results in all applications - from dry parched conditions to high rainfall tropical environments and temperate climates.

ROAD TECH 2000 requires no special machines, no extra personnel and no operator training. The product is simply added to a water truck and applied while bringing the road material to optimum moisture content. It's that easy!
Once compacted, the microbes begin to process the clay particles and continue to work through the profile, strengthening it for up to three months. The Strengthening process is then complete.

Not only does its application reduce plant/equipment usage, ROAD TECH 2000 allows users to take advantage of local gravel with high clay content. Think of the savings that can be achieved by using insitu materials, by the reduced need for costly and increasingly scarce premium gravel, and by reduced cartage costs!

The use of inferior materials modified by additives (such as ROAD TECH 2000) is endorsed by the Institute of Municipal Engineers of Australia (IMEA) as part of it's commitment to "...the promotion of an Ecological Sustainable Environment".

Because of its unique microbial design, ROAD TECH 2000 dramatically reduces dust residue on all treated surfaces. Not only is this environmentally friendly, it is the community friendly way to stabilise road surfaces. Take the case of Murweh Council which recorded not only a savings of 220% in maintenance costs over two years, but also a drop in residents’ complaints from 200 annually to zero!

ROAD TECH 2000 has proven over 3 years of use that maintenance costs are dramatically reduced. One of the major benefits of using ROAD TECH 2000 has been the increase in road life. This longevity saves $$$!

Since ROAD TECH 2000 was released on the market in 1993, it has become the product of choice for a growing number of engineers worldwide.

"After two years of usage, ROAD TECH 2000 is still giving exceptional results on roads that should have deteriorated long ago. We have successfully used ROAD TECH 2000 on many projects in that time." J. Lutvey - Shire Engineer Murweh Shire Council.
